Hi there, and welcome!
I'm Tracy Stone, and I'm so glad you're here. Whether you found me through a recommendation, stumbled across a post that resonated, or we've crossed paths in the wild world of tech, I'm thrilled you've decided to join this journey.
A Little About Me
I'm a leadership and career coach, former tech executive, and someone who's passionate about unlocking potential and creating opportunities for others. My career has been beautifully non-linear — I've had the privilege of experiencing several chapters: from engineering leader to unexpected stay-at-home mom, from non-profit founder to DEI and Talent executive in tech, and now as a leadership and career coach.
Through all these twists and turns, one constant has remained: my passion for developing leaders and coaching them through their journeys. Nothing brings me more joy than being part of someone's leadership and career breakthrough — watching them work hard, push through challenges, and achieve that moment when everything clicks.
In addition to coaching or facilitating, I'm a proud mom to three amazing kids and always on the lookout for my next great book to read (recommendations always welcome!).

Why “Carving Her Path”?
Because that's exactly what we're all doing, isn't it?
I am carving my path. Sometimes with planned precision, sometimes with a sledgehammer, often learning as I go. I love learning from others, role models, and amazing women who are carving their own paths with intention and courage. And I absolutely love partnering with my clients as they navigate through their leadership struggles and career development, helping them carve their unique path forward.
"Carving Her Path" captures something I believe deeply: that success isn't about following someone else's blueprint. It's about the hard work of creating something new and the intentionality of choosing your own direction. It's about recognizing that the path isn't always clear, but that doesn't mean we stop moving forward.

I’m currently navigating being laid off from tech in July, not performance based, but due to org/leadership changes and office politics. I was laid off two weeks before my ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery needed after a hip hop class at my son’s highschool grad night fundraiser. I’m trusting the universe, realizing I’m powerless over certain things and staying positive. I’m taking care of myself, focusing on healing, physical therapy, doing lots of art, spending lots of time with my dog Elvis and trying to handle all this change with grace and optimism to show my kids and family that “everything always works out the way it is supposed to” and try ing to take life “one day at a time”.
